The Friends of the Orange County Library System was organized in 1949 as a group of citizens who wanted to support our libraries. The Friends raise funds for the Orange County Library System and educate people about the important role libraries play in enriching the community.

Friends of the Library are people who know that a community with a first-rate library is a better place to live. Third Floor Bookstore

One of the ways the Friends raise funds in support of the library is through sales made at the Mary Anne Hodel Friends of the Orange County Library System Bookstore. The Bookstore is located on the third floor of Orlando Public Library in beautiful downtown Orlando at 101 E. Central Blvd.

Open daily, the Third Floor Bookstore offers thousands of respectfully-used fiction and nonfiction books of all genres, DVDs, CDS, vinyl and other materials for all ages, at truly reasonable prices. A selection of bookish items and library swag like tote bags and enamel pins are also available for purchase. Come visit and check it out for yourself!
